Pork or chicken, wrapped and tied the way Lucy always did it. The meat's fully cooked, the masa isn't — everything ships frozen and you finish it yourself in a pot of salted water. Pickup's free, or we'll drive it out anywhere in LA.
For me, that recipe is my grandma Lucy's pasteles. Growing up with it, I learned that making pasteles isn't something you can rush — it takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love. Bringing it to you means more to me than simply selling food. It's a way to keep a family tradition going and share a little piece of where we come from.
Every pastel is made with the same care that's been passed down through our family. I hope that first bite tastes like more than just food — I hope it feels a little like home.
